The Struggle with Bookmarks

If you’ve ever used the default bookmarks in Chrome (or pretty much any browser), you’ve probably found yourself stuck in a disorganized mess of forgotten links, folders within folders, and that “where did I save that page?” frustration. I definitely have! So, I decided it was time for a change—time to create something better, something that actually improves the way we use the web.

That’s where my custom dashboard comes in. Imagine bookmarks that don’t just sit there, but actually work for you, guiding you to the right link exactly when you need it. And not in some boring list format—oh no, we’ve got cards! Yep, cards you can customize to represent your favorite links in a much more user-friendly (and honestly, nicer-looking) way.

What’s the Dashboard Like Right Now?

Right now, the dashboard is pretty simple, but super effective. I’ve designed it to focus on speed and ease-of-use, keeping things minimal but powerful. It’s my personal productivity sidekick, helping me navigate the web faster and with fewer clicks.

The setup is secure too. I’m currently using Cloudflare’s ZeroTrust policies for authentication (a fancy way of saying, “Only the right people can access it”). It’s private for now, but trust me, I’m already planning the next step to open it up for everyone to enjoy!

Taking It to the Next Level

Now, I’m on a mission to transform this handy little tool into something everyone can use. Yup, soon you’ll be able to create your own dashboard, filled with customizable cards that make web browsing smoother than ever.

• Logins for Everyone! I’ll be introducing a sleek and simple login system powered by OAuth, so you can sign in effortlessly, no matter where you are.
• A Smarter Backend: Behind the scenes, I’m working on building a rock-solid foundation using .NET ASP CORE. That’s code speak for “it’s going to be fast, reliable, and ready to handle whatever you throw at it.”
• A Dynamic New Look: The interface is getting a makeover too! With Angular powering the front end, the dashboard will be even snappier, with real-time updates and an ultra-responsive design that feels great on all devices.

And, of course, there will be tons of customization options—so you can make the dashboard truly yours. Pick your favorite layout, choose themes that fit your vibe, and maybe even integrate with some of your favorite tools.
